Setting up Subversion (SVN) in proxy network

To set up Subversion in a proxy network, open terminal

Accessories->Terminal

then type following

gedit ~/.subversion/servers

then find out [global] section. There uncomment http-proxy-host and http-proxy-port and then type your proxy settings. If you have user name and password then uncomment the remaining two and add those.
